• Biography

  I have served in various capacities in Kenya government most recent being Fisheries Secretary, Ministry of Fisheries Development at policy and development planning level. I am Trainer, Mentor, Extensionist and Researcher. As a Principal investigator with USAID Aquaculture and Fisheries Collaborative Research Support Programme (AquaFish CRSP), I have been involved development Programmes in Kenya, Ghana, Mali, Uganda, and Tanzania targeting the rural poor for over 18 years. Have collaborative working relations with African, American and South East Asia resulting in a BIFAD award of excellence for innovation on low cost feeds under the Feed the future initiative.
