About the author
James "Jim" Lehman is Professor of Learning Design and Technology and currently serves as Associate Dean for Discovery and Faculty Development in the College of Education at Purdue University. Previous positions have included Head of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction as well as Interim Director of the Center for Instructional Excellence. He teaches courses related to the integration of computers in education, multimedia design, and distance learning. His scholarly interests include technology in science education, multimedia design, and online learning.
