Abstract

Nasha Mukti Kendra in Fatehgarh Sahib provides awareness that addiction reaches beyond the individual, affecting families, communities, and society at large. With the potential to disrupt personal relationships, impair work or academic performance, and lead to legal consequences, drug addiction poses significant challenges. Understanding the nature of addiction is crucial to addressing it effectively and provide the necessary support for those grappling with its formidable grasp. This introductory awareness is a crucial step towards fostering empathy, eradicating stigma, and implementing comprehensive strategies to prevent and treat drug addiction.
