My students really loved this activity. The competitive portion of this really fueled there interest. It went well with our unit on Potential and Kinetic energy and was a good activity to end the year. If time permits, next time around I would like to implement the extension activity that was done at last years institute with the chemical reaction.
My students really loved the Bottle Racer activity. It gave me to reinforce the main concepts of my energy unit and it gave the students a chance to demonstrate their knowledge through discussions and the hands-on application.
