This workshop is based on a project directed by Monica Cox. Identifying the Critical Competencies of Engineering Doctoral Education Jiabin Emily Zhu Adviser: Dr. Monica F. Cox Key learning outcomes: Is there an international consensus about what comprises doctoral education? What competencies should the degree confer? How do we create internationally meaningful comparative data on doctoral education? How do we evaluate doctoral education across national borders?
