Biography
Samwel Kimani has over ten years of experience in the social entrepreneurship sector, specifically focusing on children and youth living and working on the streets. Currently, Samwel is the Program Director at the Tumaini Innovation Center, where he engages at-risk and out-of-school children and youth in a revolutionary new educational social enterprise that enables learners to down barriers they face in a changing society. Samwel holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Arts from Moi University, Eldoret. Samwel is a Mandela Washington Fellow and Leaders in Innovation Fellow. He has received multiple development grants from USAID, the Japanese-Kenyan National collaboration, and the US Embassy of Nairobi for building and developing the Tumaini Innovation Center.
