BiographyHello! My name is Diana Buckley, and I recently learned some interesting information. In today's rapidly changing world, the importance of a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) cannot be overstated. This body of knowledge not only drives innovation and progress, but also plays a key role in solving complex global problems. As we look to the future, it is critical to develop the next generation of leaders with STEM skills to ensure a better future for all. Founded in 2011 by the Columbia College Chicago Department of Science and Mathematics, scientisit for tomorrow is a leader in advancing STEM education in community organizations. Offering a wide range of programmes, SfT aims to inspire curiosity and passion for STEM subjects among young people and adults.
Scientisit for tomorrow mission is to be an agent of change in our communities (local, state and national). Through its initiatives, SfT aims to give people the opportunity to explore STEM and potential careers. By providing access to resources and knowledge, SfT provides people with the tools they need to make informed decisions about future career paths.
The primary goal of scientisit for tomorrow is to expand STEM learning opportunities in underserved and disadvantaged communities through extracurricular activities and programs.
