The EVolution of Electric Vehicles || Tax Benefits in the UK

The EVolution:

The evolution of electric vehicles (EVs) up until 2024 has been rapid and their contributions are remarkable. From saving money to saving the earth, EVs are very much on their way to replacing gas cars, and not just passenger/personal vehicles.

EVs can be traced back to the 18th century. Thomas Davenport, a blacksmith from Vermont, was the first person with a model of a small-scale electric locomotive in 1835. However, it was not a practical mode of transportation but an experiment with electric propulsion. Later in 1884, a British inventor, Thomas Parker introduced an electric carriage, a breakthrough in the 18th century as it was one of the earliest practical non-rechargeable electric vehicles that was employed for public transportation in London.
