Applied Nutrition Research and Capacity-Building in Laos

Catholic Relief Services photo/Phoonsab ThevongsaThe goal of the project is to develop and support the research capacity of professionals engaged in tackling the development challenges of malnutrition and stunting in Laos through training and capacity building. 

Purdue University, working in partnership with Indiana University, and Catholic Relief Services will implement activities that focus on enhancing research skills associated with nutrition drivers and key indicator outcomes. 

Besides promoting technology advancements, the project is designed to enhance educational pedagogy and techniques for formulating, testing, executing, and integrating 21st century science and technology into local programs and policies.
