Learning Objectives

After completion of this module students will be able to:

  • Describe the 6 Cs model as a framework for transdisciplinary obesity prevention research.
  • Identify rationale for transdisciplinary approach to obesity prevention by summarizing consequences (diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular diseases, bone health).
  • Define and provide examples of cell, child, clan, culture, community, and country.
