• Biography

  I am a civil engineer turned English language and workplace skills educator. With two degrees in liberal arts and two in engineering, I am a life-long learner with a deep desire to improve our students' learning environments in STEM higher education. 

  As we say in our mission statement, we are focused on connecting and supporting teams of faculty who are already doing transformational work in STEM. These teams are seeking to remake the education they deliver so that it is more relevant to today's students, grounded in research that has taken place during the last three decades, and equitable for all. I am very happy to be part of this. May the fruit of our efforts be students who deeply enjoy their STEM programs and who, as they graduate into the STEM work world, are equipped with the technical, communication, and global skills to approach and solve the challenges that the world has for them.
