  Switching to earth and environment sciences from a civil engineering background, he is interested in hydrology/geotechnical applications. He has a PhD from Grenoble Alpes University (France) and was a member of Quebec Professional Engineers Board (Canada). His expertise is dedicated to environmental protection, conservation and sustainable use of land resources concerning soil decontamination, waste landfill, geothermic and CO2 storage (aquifers/deep reservoirs). His research also involves urban disasters under Climate Change pressure for flooding, groundwater exploitation and soil subsidence. He is developing researches with an interdisciplinary team.
