• Biography

  I am a horticulture professional with special interest in postharvest technology focusing on reduction of postharvest losses. I also have a bias in vegetable science especially issues relating to Traditional African Vegetables. My most recent research work was in the Hortinlea Project where my major activities involved studies relating to postharvest of five African Leafy Vegetables including quantitative and qualitative losses. My immediate project is as a team leader of the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project for Tomato Value Chain in Kajiado County - Kenya.
