What Giant Leaps are undergraduate researchers completing at Purdue? The Undergraduate Research Pitch Competition will highlight undergraduate researchers' projects while promoting concise and effective storytelling during this Purdue 150th Anniversary event. Timeline of Events August 29, 2019: Deadline to Submit YouTube Public Recordings of Research Pitch Aug. 30 to Sept. 13, 2019: OUR Creates Official Social Media Posts for Public Participation to Determine Top 10 Sept. 17, 2019: Top 10 Finalists Announced Sept. 24, 2019: Live Pitch Competition Submit Your Undergraduate Research Pitch -Upload your three-minute research pitch to YouTube -Although the live event allows one PowerPoint slide, your YouTube recording does not need to include the slide. -Send the link to your research pitch via the provided Qualtrics form with additional information to create the social media post to be in the Top 10 -Share officially created OUR social media posts on Facebook and Twitter and encourage additional engagement -Engagement with the official posts (likes, shares, and retweets, but not views) will determine 50% of the score -Judges will assess the submitted pitches and the scores from the committee will determine the other 50% of the score |
