  1. Searching for a Summer Research Program

    Current undergrad researchers and interested undergraduates who are interested in locating a summer research program will learn how to search and apply for programs. Bringing a personal device is encouraged to begin the search process at the end of the session.

  2. Undergraduate Research Fall Expo

    Learn about research projects Purdue students have completed. The Expo features presentations in the morning (STEW) and a poster symposium in the afternoon (PMU Ballrooms). Look out for the day’s event schedule!

  3. Poster Work Day

    Get help and feedback with your poster and presenting it. Project your poster on the screen to see what it will look like.

  4. Dawn or Doom Poster Symposium

    We invite students of all levels and backgrounds to present their work (research or projects) at the PGSG/DawnorDoom’18 Poster Symposium on Monday, November 5, 2018. Posters do NOT have to be directly related to the symposium themes, but students should be able to communicate their research succinctly. Abstracts will be accepted through 5PM October 29, 2018.

  5. Research Roundtable

    Research mentors and programs will be available to talk about their opportunities to undergraduates who are seeking research experiences.   6. Preparing for the Research Roundtable

    Learn how to network during the Roundtable. All can attend to learn about networking, but it is encouraged for those planning to attend the Research Roundtable on 10/30.

    Novice and expert creators invited to learn poster best practices. Fall Expo participants encouraged to attend.

  8. Gulf Coast Undergraduate Research Symposium (GCURS)

    We welcome undergrads conducting research in engineering and natural science fields to apply to GCURS, which will be Saturday, October 6, 2018, on the Rice campus in Houston, Texas. Participants present original research discoveries in 12-15 minute individual, oral presentations to scholars from around the world.     This year, Indy Big Data is excited to partner with the Indiana Management Performance Hub (MPH), the state’s data sharing and insights agency, to host the Challenge.
